The whole life of Lentinula edodes

Lentinula edodes life cycle consists of two parts, namely the mycelium and sporocarp two stages.Mycelium period is the vegetative stage, sporocarp period is the reproductive growth stage.The sporocarp is called the mushroom fruit body, and the mushroom fruit body is the reproductive organ of the mushroom,consist of pileus and stipe two parts,the pileus back have  radial gills in which breed a large number of spores,it will ejected from gills when the spores mature.When the spores encounter appropriate nutrition, temperature and humidity, can generate mycelium germination,the mycelium just created is single-core mycelium, When confronted with different polarities mononuclear mycelia, can produce sexual combination,this combination is called sexual reproduction,also called heterothallic.The heterothallic mycelium breed cells through the lock-like joint,Within each cell contains twenty thousand nuclei, so called dual-core mycelium.When dual-core mycelium encounters the suitable nutrient and environmental conditions,it begin to differentiate to form the mushroom primordium,Continued growing and developing to grow into fruiting bodies.After fruiting bodies grow and mature, and breed a large amount of spores,that is the whole life of the shiitake mushroom.
